Messi's departure from Saint-Germain is soon, and Al-Hilal is suspended
A media report stated that Lionel Messi's position in the French team, Paris Saint-Germain,
appears worrying, although negotiations regarding the renewal of the World Cup-winning player's
contract are ending.
And the headline of one of the newspapers stated that “divorce is close,” adding that “the chances
of an agreement are receding on both sides.”
Messi's 35-year-old contract with the French champions expires at the end of the season.
Messi's joining the Saint-Germain team in 2021 came from Barcelona, who was not able to pay
his salary.
But Barcelona officials said that they were fighting to negotiate with Messi about his return, and
it was also said that the Saudi club Al-Hilal was interested in including the Argentine star in its
ranks, as Messi surprised the audience on the communication sites by publishing pictures while
he was spending a vacation in Saudi Arabia with his small family.
On the other hand, it was said that Messi's father and agent, Jorge Messi, reached an unofficial
and unconfirmed agreement with Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president of Saint-Germain, but
without any confirmation.
