Paul Pierce
Paul Pierce is a retired American professional basketball player who played 19 seasons in the
National Basketball Association (NBA). He played small forward and shooting guard for the
Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, and Washington Wizards. Pierce was known for his clutch
shooting and ability to score in various ways, and he was a ten-time NBA All-Star. He won an
NBA Championship with the Celtics in 2008 and was named the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player.
After retiring from the NBA in 2017, Pierce joined ESPN as an analyst for NBA games.
Pierce was a 10-time NBA All-Star and was named to the All-NBA Third Team in 2002. He was
also a member of the US national team that won the gold medal at the 2010 FIBA World
Championship. Pierce was known for his scoring ability and clutch performances in big games.
He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2021.
