A Manchester court granted bail on Wednesday to Manchester United player Mason Greenwood, the English Premier League soccer club, after a private hearing in the case of his accused of attempted rape and assault of a young woman.
The authorities arrested the 21-year-old player in January after a young woman posted photos and videos on social media in which she told of physical violence.
And on Saturday, Greater Manchester Police charged a 21-year-old man with indecent, bullying and violent behaviour, and attempted rape and assault of a young woman under Section 47.
Neither the player nor his representative has been embarrassed by any comment on the allegations at any stage.
