Dubai prepares to welcome thousands of football fans

As tens of thousands of football fans plan to use neighboring countries as a base to host the 2022 Qatar World Cup, Dubai - less than an hour's flight away from football matches - is expecting plenty of time for tourism, due to limited places in the host nation Qatar.
Football fans spend $20,000 a night for a single yacht during the 2022 FIFA World Cup to watch the tournament matches on big screens while sailing in the Arabian Gulf.
Zubin Duchen, who lives in Dubai, anticipates watching the World Cup matches in style while munching on ice cream on a luxury yacht.
Hotels, restaurants and other venues in Dubai are preparing to welcome the influx of local visitors and fans with special World Cup events and shows. Fans, including Zubin Duchen, chose to watch the matches at sea. “Expectations are very simple,” Duchen says. “I am sure I will have a great time with my family and friends, enjoy the luxury of Exclusive Yachts and watch the World Cup competition from the sea with all the great services.”
