UEFA has taken disciplinary action against Celtic

Celtic fans shouted anti-Queen Elizabeth II, who died this month, during a minute honoring her memory during the team's match against St Mirren in the Scottish Premier League on Sunday.

"If you hate the royal family, clap," Celtic fans said, while holding a banner emblazoned with the phrase at the end, according to British news agency PA Media.

Celtic coach Ange Postecoglou had previously stated that the club wanted fans to be "respected" during any occasion.

And the European Football Association took disciplinary measures against Celtic, after fans of the Scottish team raised an aggressive banner for the royal family,

in the team’s match against its counterpart Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine, which took place in Poland in the Champions League.
