The second round of the Champions League group stage ended with a number of surprises

 including the loss of Juventus to Benfica, while Liverpool tried to beat Ajax, 

while Barcelona lost to Bayern Munich by two clean goals. The 32 matches that took place until the end of the second round had scored 88 goals, at a rate of 2.75 goals per match, or one goal every 33 minutes,

 while the largest number of goals was scored between the 46th and 60th minutes and the period between the 76th and 90th minutes,
