New York Yankees star Aaron Judge on Tuesday became the sixth player in MLB history to record 60 home runs in a season.





In the long history of baseball, only five players have hit more home runs in one season.


 Whether they were helped by performance enhancers or not, they were among the greatest hitters of all time: 

Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, Roger Maris and Babe Ruth. On Tuesday, for the first time in more than two decades, a new name joined the list.



 the ninth night on Tuesday in the Bronx, Aaron Judge became the third player in American League history to hit 60 homers in one season. The others were Yankees: 

Babe Ruth in 1927 and Roger Maris in 1961, both with teammates pushing them. For Ruth it was Lou Gehrig, for Maris it was Mickey Mantle.
